I created Bones Is Back®, reimagining Halloween into a month-long, kid-powered tradition through a patent-pending toy and a copyrighted book that blend storytelling, play, and creativity. I combine product design, IP, and behavioral insight to build a distinctive, scalable family experience.




Short Bio
I am the creator of Bones Is Back®, an award-winning Halloween book-and-toy tradition designed to bring families together through creativity, play, and positive values. As a toy inventor and award-winning children’s book author, I developed the concept, story, and design behind Bones Is Back: A Family Tradition for Halloween. The product has received multiple national recognitions, including Creative Child Magazine Book of the Year (2025), Story Monsters Approved! (2025), Mom’s Choice Awards Gold (2025), the NAPPA Award (2026), and a finalist for 'Most Innovative Halloween Product' by the Halloween and Costume Association (2025). In 2026 I also was a finalist of the Pulse of Play® award (by Toybook) for 'Toy Inventor of the Year'.
Previously, I gained practical experience across entrepreneurship, consulting, and executive leadership. I served as CEO of Bonfort S.A., a Swiss luxury brand, and as a Senior Consultant at McKinsey and Company, advising Fortune 500 firms on growth strategy, branding, and transformation. I continue to work at the intersection of marketing and practice as an expert witness for IMS Legal Strategies, providing opinions in branding, consumer confusion, and marketing-related litigation. My consulting experience includes collaborations with multinational corporations, SMEs, and public institutions, including advisory work for the Swiss government, as well as visiting professorships such as in Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, or China. Academically, I am a Professor of Marketing at Rollins College (USA) with +20 years of experience in branding, marketing strategy, market research, and analytics. My academic training includes a Master’s degree from HEC Lausanne, graduate studies at the London School of Economics (LSE), a Ph.D. from the University of Bern, and postdoctoral research at Harvard University, with additional doctoral research experience at UC Berkeley. My work has been published in journals such as Harvard Business Review, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Brand Management, Journal of Consumer Behavior, and International Marketing Review. I am recognized among the top 1% of scientists globally (2025) by Stanford University and Elsevier, Elsevier, Research.com, ScholarGPS™, and the AD Scientific Index, including ranking among the Top 100 marketing scientists in the United States. My work—whether in the classroom, courtroom, boardroom, or toy aisle—is based on executing a data-driven strategy with measurable results, grounded in research, analytical decision-making, and creative differentiation to build strong unique brands.
